We Need Your Support!
The Institute for Science in Medicine needs financial support from the public to pursue its mission, to:
- Educate the public about the dangers of relying on unscientific “alternative medicine”
- Alert public officials to the individual, social, and fiscal costs of legitimizing unscientific healthcare practices
- Inform policymakers about the dangers of licensing unscientific practitioners
- Assist healthcare professionals to resist lowering standards of care with “integrative medicine”
- Help educational institutions promote only scientifically appropriate healthcare practices to students
- Counter the threats to valuable public health measures, such as vaccination and fluoridation
- Identify useless and dangerous quack remedies and practices
- …And so much more!
